EC note: These Regs. implement DIR 2002/29/EC on the harmonisation of certain aspects of copyright and related rights in the information society ("the Directive"), and also adjust the implementation of DIR 91/250/EEC on the legal protection of computer programs, as required by the Directive, and take account of amendments required by the Directive to DIR 92/100/EC on rental and lending right and on certain rights relating to copyright in the field of intellectual property, and DIR 93/98/EEC harmonising the term of protection of copyright and certain related rights.
