A Extra Series (2 Revised edition)

This series of books gives children plenty of practice for their newly acquired phonic skills at the level of CVC words.

At the same time it introduces some non-phonic words that appear very frequently in the English language.

These are 'to, go, you, we, are, said'. Words containing vowel digraphs, i.e. 'for' and 'down' are treated as special words to be learnt by sight at this stage.
