Cinderella (Disney)

Disney's animated version of the classic fairy tale.

When her widowed father marries the wicked Lady Tremaine (voice of Eleanor Audley), Cinderella (Ilene Woods) does her best to be welcoming to her new stepmother and stepsisters Anastasia (Lucille Bliss) and Drizella (Rhoda Williams).

However, she soon finds herself being mistreated by Lady Tremaine and her daughters and forced to work as a servant.

One day in the woods she encounters a handsome stranger and believes him to work in the Palace, not realising that he is in fact Prince Charming (William Phipps).

Cinderella's household then receives an invitation to a royal ball and she hopes she will get the chance to see the young man again, but when Lady Tremaine refuses to let her attend, a friendly fairy (Verna Felton) steps in to lend a helping hand.
