Stages of Science

This book will cover the requirements of the NSW Science course for years 9 & 10, that is Stage 5 of the yet to be released course of study.

This new course is to be introduced from 1999. The advocated approach is via contexts. By providing two years in a single book tethers will have the flexibility to develop courses for their own schools.

It is anticipated that the book will be divided into 4 topic areas: Matter, Physical World, Living World and Earth & Space.

In each of these areas the material will be developed as double page spreads which will encompass theory, practical tasks, exercises and assignments.

The books are to be in a single colour and to be inexpensive to enable schools to purchase sufficient copies from their limited funds.
