That's English! : Learning English Through Songs

That's English! comprises a set of 18 songs that cover the content of the Key Stage 2 English Programme of Study.

The book and the CD that goes with it together provide teachers with an invaluable resource for reinforcing concepts, knowledge and methodology by using songs in popular styles as a stimulus for literacy explanation and discussion.

Each song is accompanied by activity sheets to take pupils' aural understanding into a written context.

That's English! is based on many of the accelerated learning principles using VAK (visual, auditory and kinesthetic) methods.

It also uses the 3 'R's of popular song - Rhythm, Rhyme and Repetition - as a fundamental teaching tool to help pupils understand and remember subject content, while having a lot of fun along the way!
