Emergency Way Guidance Lighting Systems - Phase 1

This text presents a draft of British Standards for electrical and non-eletrical emergency way guidance systems.

Such systems may be provided for safety in the event of power failure and/or to provide way guidance lighting for escape during fires where the normal lighting or high-mounted emergency lighting might be scattered and obscured by smoke.
