Prevention of Fire and Explosion and Emergency Response on Offshore Installations : Offshore Installations (Prevention of Fire and Explosion and Emergency Response) Regulations 1995 and Approved Code (2 Revised edition)

This Code and guidance deals with: preventing fires and explosions on offshore installations, and protecting people from the effects of any which do occur; and securing effective response to emergencies affecting people on the installation or engaged in activities in connection with it, and which have the potential to require evacuation, escape and rescue from the installation.

The second edition includes amendments incorporating the factors to be considered when selecting the vessel to provide the recovery and rescue arrangements required by regulation 17.
