The extended family became musicians, pharmacists, cabinet makers, pastors and farmers.

World events however drastically changed thier lives after the Revolutions of 1848 with the rise of nationalism and ethnic disputes.

World War One disrupted lives of family memebers who had moved to Vienna.

But it was World War Two and the rise of Nazism that would rip families apart and end in the epulsion and genocide of the entire popoulation of ethnic Germans in Central Europe.
