Mexican Lives

The aim of this book is to put a human face on the political and economic transformation underway in Mexico.

The author combines portraits of the experience of Mexican people with a presentation of recent Mexican economic history.

The book considers the issues in conjunction with the North American Free Trade Agreement.

The author went into the homes and workplaces of a range of ordinary Mexicans to collect her portraits.
