Hite Report on Women Loving Women

Unspoken rivalries between women exist everywhere - in the workplace, at the gym, even in relationships.

In her latest report, Dr Shere Hite analyzes the origins of this ever-present negativity, and attempts to discover whether women truly have a predisposition to dislike each other, or if there is a hidden taboo on alliances between women.

Hite asserts that the hostile attitude stems from mother-daughter relations as a child, and women are thereafter conditioned to view one another with distrust and dislike.

Pleading that women's relationships should not be second-best after their man, Hite underlines the power to be got from the collaboration of women.

In her first Hite Report since 1994, Hite offers just as provocative theories as her first report in 1976.
