This CD-ROM is designed to provide History, Citizenship and RE departments with unique coverage of the origins, events and aftermath of the Holocaust and features links to particular aspects of the genocides in Rwanda and the Balkans.

It features: extensive coverage of the key issues and themes from each of these topics; a rich selection of source material, including audio files and video clips containing archive footage and survivors' testimony; student activities that are designed to ask meaningful questions in the context of History (and Citizenship and RE); and, thorough lesson plans that provide practical advice on how to use sections of the CD-ROM as the basis for teaching aspects of the Holocaust.

All of these are mapped to the History and Citizenship programmes of study, and use aspects of the Key Stage 3 Strategy to promote effective teaching and learning.
