If you had to pick an Everton XI based entirely around the Scousers who had represented the club, which set of players would you choose?

That was the intriguing task we set a Scouse Goodison legend in an 84-page special edition celebrating the local players who have worn the famous royal blue jersey. And it was important the former Everton star got the team right because he was then asked to debate whether his team would beat a Liverpool FC Scouse XI picked by a former Anfield hero.
