Beyond the Dunes

Northerner Ethan Gould arrives in the village of Bramblewick, Cornwall amid a spate of gruesome murders of young girls. Renting a cottage from renowned Pellar, or white witch, Tilly Waugh, Gould befriends her mentally handicapped grandson Barney.
DCI Hatton leads a CID investigative team and draw up a list of suspects, which includes Barney, who viciously attacks a local DJ he believes is involved with Rachel, a girl he is infatuated with. With the murder of Rachel, Barney is now the prime suspect, but with no evidence, is released.
Due to a series of incidents, DS Alice Rand adds her colleague DC Underwood to the growing list, along with Gould after discovering his secretive past.
