A new introduction to human biology

Written for the AQA specification A, based on the previous AEB syllabus, this text covers in full the first two modules of the AS course.

Extension boxes provide fuller coverage than the minimum needed for the specifications, and further synoptic extension boxes provide coverage of synoptic themes from the start.

Questions and assignments build biology skills as well as testing knowledge and understanding.

The authors of this text also wrote these specifications and are all on the examining board.
