"This is RE!" is a course for Key Stage 3 RE which offers carefully selected coverage of the QCA schemes of work and the proposed National Framework for RE through a flexible and stimulating enquiry-based approach. "This is RE Book 2" is a course for Year 8 which introduces a fresh and engaging enquiry-based approach to Key Stage 3 RE. "This is RE Book 2": covers the key topics from the new QCA Key Stage 3 scheme of work in such a way as to build a worthwhile course around it; highlights and develops the use of literacy to help RE to contribute effectively to the TLF strand of the Key Stage 3 strategy; provides tasks that pupils should enjoy and that they are able to do; offers extensive differentiation; reflects the diversity of religion in the UK; combines learning about religion (AT1) with learning from religion (AT2); offers integrated opportunities for realistic assessment; and is tightly structured for use by non-specialists yet provides the platform on which the specialist can build.

This Teacher's Resource Book supports each major task in the Pupil's Book, providing time-saving copy masters and further help with differentiation. The detailed notes give advice on issues of course planning such as assessment using the eight-level scale, the literacy framework, the national framework and ICT.
