The Touch

Drama directed by Ingmar Bergman in which a love triangle is set up when archaeologist David Kovak (Elliott Gould) visits the home of Swedish surgeon Andreas (Max von Sydow), only to fall in love with his wife Karin (Bibi Andersson).

They begin an affair, Karin frequently visiting David at his apartment, until he has to go away for six months.

Upon his return the affair continues, and Andreas realises that his wife has been unfaithful.
