Low Down

Jeff Preiss directs this biopic following the life and career of American jazz pianist Joe Albany, played here by John Hawkes.

The film is told from the perspective of Joe's young daughter Amy (Elle Fanning) as she watches her father struggle with a heroin addiction while continuing to move forward in his career.

The supporting cast includes Glenn Close, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey and Flea.
