Agali is a Village and a mandal in Anantapur district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.

It is about 115 kilometers from Anantapur town and bordered by Karnataka state and Rolla Mandal of Anantapur district.

According to the history from Inscriptional information of 748 A.D., Agali was ruled by Kanchikabbe, wife of Ganga king Sripurusha.

The name-board in Zilla Parishad High School, Agali, indicates that, before Independence, Agali was part of Madras State.

However, in spite of major Kannada cultural influence, it belongs to Madakasira taluk of Anantapur district now.
