Entree : Entry Level French

"Entree" is a one-stage coursebook for students taking entry level French, based on the previously published "Certificate of Achievement French".

The addition of extra material, updating of currency references to the euro, extension of the range of tasks and additional planning support, should make this edition an ideal resource for the requirements of all entry level qualifications. The colour coursebook closely follows specification requirements which should prepare students thoroughly for the tests.

Pictures and symbols - based on those used in the tests - are provided in colour in the "Student's Book" and as copymasters in the "Teacher's Resource Book".

Lively, motivating games and practice via worksheets and templates are also provided as photocopiable pages in the "Teacher's Resource Book".

The audio material available supports speaking practice and prepares students for the listening test and includes speaking prompts as well as listening items. This course should be an ideal pre-GCSE resource, providing a strong grounding in basic vocabulary and structures across the GCSE topics.
