The book examines the work of established directors, such as Carlos Saura, Victor Erice, Pedro Almodovar, Pilar Miro, Bigas Luna and Josefina Molina, as well as new talents, such as Julio Medem, Juanma Bajo Ulloa, Alex de la Igelsia, Iciar Bollain, Isabel Coixet and Marta Balletbo-Coll.
