This book is a compilation of eight chapters on environmental research.

The book starts off with Chapter One explaining what soil respiration is and why it matters.

In Chapter Two, authors explain their findings after monitoring ground thermal regimes on the Ojos del Salado.

The third chapter discusses the use of MNPs in electronic devices, highlighting the benefits and challenges of their incorporation in such devices.

In Chapter Four, projected trends of ozone and PM2.5 are discussed under different shared socioeconomic pathways.

The fifth chapter focuses on the many forms, mechanisms, influencing factors, and relevance of soil respiration.

In Chapter Six, the authors studied variations in the physicochemical properties of the polymethyl acrylate, block, and grafted copolymers of crab chitosan with methyl acrylate under the influence of micromycetes (Aspergillus terreus, and Penicillium cyclopium).

In Chapter Seven, the dynamics of urban morphology was assessed over a fast-growing tropical megacity and its neighboring districts using geospatial techniques and satellite imagery.

In Chapter Eight, a brief description of the NAA methodology, as well as examples of the results of experimental studies on the biogeochemistry of poorly studied trace elements are given.
