Yuri met the man of his dreams the night the world ended.

Star vanished back into the shadows leaving Yuri to find a way to survive the Fracture of worlds and the monsters that spewed from the rift. Captured and delivered to the steps of a floating castle, the Master offers Yuri protection at the cost of a blood bond. But the bond awakens out of control magic with a taste for power and lust, forcing Yuri to devour the living around him and feed on the Master's desire. His hunger insatiable and dangerous to all the Master protects, Yuri is sent with the son of Dracula, Lucian, to the Monster of Legends castle, to learn control.

Star bestows help through dreams, and rediscovering his lost love, gives Yuri hope. But Lucian becomes a source of strength, affection, and love as the two of them seek to survive the dark shadows taking over Dracula's castle. While the castle begins to wake and the walls narrow, Yuri's flourishing magic wanes, torn apart by shadows.
