Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret.

Abby Ryder Fortson and Rachel McAdams star in this US drama based on Judy Blume's novel. 11-year-old Margaret (Fortson) has her life turned upside down when she must move with her parents from New York City to New Jersey, join a new school and make new friends.

Despite having no affiliation to any religious model, Margaret begins to talk to God, confiding her hopes and fears and finding out about different forms of worship as she begins a year-long school project.

Meanwhile, as Margaret and her new friends learn about puberty and become more aware of boys, they are soon competing with each other to develop quickly.

Can God provide Margaret with all the answers to her troubles?
