Wyrmwood - Road of the Dead & Apocalypse

Double bill of Australian zombie horrors. In 'Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead' (2014) a large number of people turn into zombies during a meteor shower.

After losing his wife and daughter, mechanic Barry (Jay Gallagher) sets out to find his sister Brooke (Bianca Bradey), but she has been kidnapped by an experimental scientist known as The Doc (Berryn Schwerdt).

Barry meets fellow survivor Benny (Leon Burchill) and the two battle together through hordes of zombies as they attempt to rescue Brooke.

In the sequel 'Wyrmwood: Apocalypse' (2021) Rhys (Luke McKenzie) lives in a zombie-infested Australian wasteland.

He hunts both the living and dead for use by the Surgeon (Nicholas Boshier) who he believes is trying to find a cure.

When he realises this is a lie, he turns against him and joins forces with hybrid zombie Brooke and her brother Barry along with Maxi (Shantae Barnes-Cowan) to rescue Maxi's sister Grace (Tasia Zalar) before it's too late.
