The ROXPLORERS in: GOLDY'S GREAT GRAND ADVENTURE is the second book in an entertaining and educational series of books featuring mischievous 'rock children'. This second book tells the story of how curious, impulsive Goldy Nugget discovers the unexpected hero in himself. A.L. is a Canadian lady who is the mother of 6 adult children and the grandmother of 15 grandchildren ranging in age from 10 to 30 years old. She also has a great grandson and a great granddaughter.

Although A.L. has always admired the beauty and individuality of rocks and minerals, she did not think of writing about them till she had a vivid dream featuring a family of playful, living stones. This dream stirred A L's imagination. It inspired her to share a series of captivating stories about a group of little rock children called THE ROXPLORERS. In the stories, The Roxplorer Characters experience challenging and often comical events during their search to discover their individual origins.
