All Things Counter, Original, Spare, Strange : Prose Poems

The collection of prose poems is a 4-part sequence that engages the perilous times in which we live, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The work is conceived as a meditation on issues of home, illness and recovery, compassion, social justice and the earth. The human condition, under threat and on high alert, needs healing as does the natural world. The collection is meant to be experimental and innovative for readers in the time of the current pandemic. The startling and vivid work of graffiti artists from around the world has been an inspiring response to the coronavirus lockdown. Images depicting the theme of "Illness and healing" are used throughout the book.
