The International Law Reports is the only publication in the world wholly devoted to the regular and systematic reporting in English of decisions of international courts and arbitrators as well as judgments of national courts.

Volume 134 reports on, amongst others, the decisions on the death penalty from the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, the United Nations Human Rights Committee and the courts of Barbados, Jamaica, Malawi, Singapore and Trinidad and Tobago; the decisions from the International Court of Justice (LaGrand and Avena) and the European Court of Human Rights (Mamatkulov) on the nature and scope of provisional/interim measures; and the decisions from the International Court of Justice (LaGrand and Avena) and the United States of America (Sanchez-Llamas) on consular relations/Article 36 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, 1963.
