As the stalwart light of the once-great Kingdom of Solas begins to darken, as magic leaves the land and beasts of the night take their roost, the last of the kingdom's people begin their desperate journey in search of a new day. These are the unfortunate histories that lead to the fall of the Castle of Spirals, the end of an age of wonders, and the lives of the good few that continued their endless struggle in the face of such overwhelming shadows. The stories in this book are not for those seeking tales of a happy end or meaning in the abyss, they are simple accounts of the humans, fae, and magical beasts that were there to witness as all was ground to dust.
