The Family Man

Henry Archer lost his daughter Thalia over twenty years ago.

Thalia's not dead, though -- and she's not really his daughter.

She was, briefly, when he married her mother and adopted the child, but somehow she slipped out of his grasp after the divorce.

Meeting her again, Henry is delighted to discover that she's grown into a poised and unconventional young woman, cheerfully accepting his homosexuality, and also on the cusp of taking quite a risky step to raise her profile as an actress.

Less happily ex-wife Denise is also back in Henry's life, newly widowed, attention-seeking and determined to fix Henry up with one of her gay friends.

Suddenly Henry is at the heart of a fairly dysfunctional family -- and it's just where he belongs.
