Forces and movement

A perfect introduction to science for young children, this exciting series has been developed specifically to support the units in the Science Schemes of work. This title encourages children to explore the different ways they can move their bodies, and compare these movements with those made by a slithering snake and a slinking cat. They are asked to consider the different ways things move in the world around them - a roundabout goes round and round, and so does the London Eye.

The concepts of pushing and pulling are explored and children are encouraged to experiment with these forces for themselves.
