After surviving the Wreck of the Untranslatable, the Tales of the Scape Grace continue in A Change of Plans. After escaping the deranged schemes of a Ningyo command ship, both the pirate vessel Scape Grace and her captain, Evgeny Lerner, were in precarious condition. Rebuilding after that profitless mess had stripped the ship's finances. An unpaid crew could soon become a restless mob. Captain Lerner needed a big payday, but the tightening net of Collective security limited his options.
