An Italian Love Story

Angelina was born after her father, Renato, returned from America, where he had lived and worked, after emigrating, for 10 years, alongside many other Italians, looking for a better life away from the poverty and deprivation of unified Italy. Away from home, Renato had worked and saved hard and on his return to his wife and family, he buys a farm on a beautiful hillside rich in pasture and soil. Renato works hard to build prosperity, and security for his family's future, helped by his two sons. Renato becomes an authority in the local area, offering the villagers temporary work on his farm.
