This is an ABC Radio O&O station through its parent company Cumulus Media.

It was once a classic country radio station with programming from the Jones Radio Network before the change to its current format.

The station previously derived a portion of its programming from Scott Shannon's The True Oldies Channel from Citadel Media.

On October 1, 2009, the station flipped formats to talk.

In the 1970s, the station was known as KWHO, and carried classical music.

The station operated during the day only.
