Core biology: Supplementary materials

These Supplementary Materials provide teachers with a range of additional information and resources to support the use of the Core Biology pupil's book.

They include: an explanation of the progression and differentiation built into each pupil's text; answers to all the in-topic questions in the pupil's text; suggestions for practical activities that reinforce each topic; worksheets to support the pupil's text; additional questions that provide further opportunities for in-class work or homework, targeted at different ability levels.

Core Biology is part of a three-volume resource for 11 to 14 year olds.

It provides all the biology needed for pupils to do well in key stage 3 SATs or the Common Entrance Examination.

It forms excellent preparation for separate-science study beyond 14.
