The Enigma of Imagination : Exploring the Intriguing Paths of Creativity

See all formats and editions

For a long time I had the belief that creativity was associated with a great idea, an invention. But over the years, I discovered that creativity comes from combining a set of elements - experiences, information, references... - to solve problems or even fulfill desires.

No good idea comes by chance.

It always comes after another one that arose before the moment when it could be realized.

Everyone is creative!

Everyone is born with the possibility to create, to find solutions. But we unlearn it. We fall into molds - the first is school. You need to respond according to templates, with standards.

Creativity is an attempt to deconstruct a set of beliefs that you are not creative, that you will follow an assembly line, you will fit into a box. You need to unlearn patterns, form new beliefs, to relearn to create.

Creativity is and will increasingly be the main differentiating factor of human beings.
