This is the first edition of Shelley to present the poetry in chronological order with full annotation, and the first to make full use of the wealth of manuscript material and scholarship that exists on Shelley. Volume 1contains a mass of new and important material such as the early 'Esdaile' poems and thw whole of the 'Scope Davis' notebook. There are significant new datings and numerous corrections to long-established errors and misunderstandings in the transmission of Shelley's work.
