In a small town called Perkins, Georgia, there was a running feud between two neighbors.

Reginald Kitchens wanted to cross the gate on the road running in front of Malcolm Wiggins' property.

The Department of Transportation had closed the road and had told Malcolm he could do with it as he wished.

He wished to have it closed to everyone. This meant a hardship on Reginald by having to haul water from the creek to his lands.

The feud culminated on Christmas Day in 1921. Life would never be the same.
