The pursuit of love

Penguin Readers is an ELT graded reader series for learners of English as a foreign language.

The text is made up of sentences with up to four clauses, introducing present perfect continuous, past perfect, reported speech and second conditional.

It is well supported by illustrations, which appear regularly. The Pursuit of Love is about the love adventures of Fanny Logan's cousin, Linda Radlett, who is beautiful, brave and fun.

Linda finally finds love and seems happy, but this is the 1930s and her country will soon go to war with Germany.
