This text is written so that students can take the first course in circuit analysis while they are taking their first course in calculus.

In the early portions of the text any necessary calculus or differential equation concepts needed are introduced as part of the text material.

In the latter portions of the text the authors have assumed that the student has completed a course in calculus and the mathematical concepts presented are considerably more sophisticated.
