Jack is on his way home from collecting firewood in the San Jacinto mountains when he sees a woman pushing a bike along a back country road. For a split second something about her reminds him of his dead wife. She looks vulnerable and so sad. That chance meeting pulls Jack into her dark past in ways neither of them could have predicted.
