"O'Driscoll's poetic language is a wonderfully weird mixture of the official and the intimate that captures the uneasy balance between the inner and outer selves of the managerial class". -- Dana Gioia, Harvard Review. O'Driscoll's fourth collection contains the long poem, "The Bottom Line", which comprises fifty incisive vignettes, written from a variety of viewpoints, on modern business and bureaucracy.

Dennis O'Driscoll was born in Co. Tipperary, in 1954. He has worked in the Irish Civil Service since he was sixteen.

His criticism has appeared in major journals in Ireland, Britain, the US, and Australia.
