Census 2001 : Key Statistics for Urban Areas in the South West and Wales

The report has results for urban areas - towns, cities and major agglomerations - in the South West and Wales on all topics covered by the 2001 Census in England and Wales.

Urban areas range in size from 1,500 people to the largest agglomerations.

There are approximately 25 Key Statistics tables and each table is designed to summarise detailed information relating to a single topic such as, Industry of employment and Living arrangements.

This publication is part of a series of four regional volumes and follows the publication of the report on urban areas in England and Wales.

It includes reference maps showing all urban areas and sub-divisions for the South West and Wales.
