Financial Statistics - No. 514 : February 2005

Financial Statistics provides key financial and monetary statistics for the UK.

It contains data on public sector finance, central government revenue and expenditure, money supply and credit, banks and building societies, interest and exchange rates, financial accounts, capital issues, balance sheets and balance of payments.

From the October 1998 edition the data in Financial Statistics became consistent with the European System of Accounts (ESA 95).

Published monthly, Financial Statistics contains over 200 pages.

Part I comprises free-standing data and the figures in chapters 1 to 7 are updated monthly; Part I contains data from ONS, Bank of England and other government departments.

Part II National and financial accounts data are updated quarterly.
