English Language: a Blueprint for Key Stage 3

Designed to help less-able Key Stage 3 pupils to meet the requirements of the Writing Attainment Target of the National Curriculum, this book covers both the rules of English and creative writing.

It follows the process of writing from brainstorming, structuring and drafting through to proof-reading and presentation to an audience. Commonsense grammar exercises are included as part of the process of learning to write, and follow-up writing activities can be used for homework or class practice.

The book's content is based on Levels 1-4, with extension material to Level 8, and combines teacher's notes with photocopiable worksheets.
