Brexit : is it a Betrayal of British Values?

See all formats and editions

The referendum on EU membership has come and gone so the question now is, have the people been smart to vote for Brexit or have they been betrayed? The Post Referendum Prime Minister, Theresa May, coined the phrase "Brexit means Brexit". Does it mean Brexit at any cost? Was the referendum conducted in a correct manner to reflect the Britishness which is valued all over the world or was it conducted and won by members from the "fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists UKIP" and the power-hungry politicians based on lies and deceit? Will Brexit bring in trade agreement without the movement of people?

Will the UK Government be able to invest the 350 million UK Pounds Sterling a week into the NHS as most of the Brexit campaigners claimed, or will the Government even invest 100 million UK Pounds Sterling a week, as some politicians claimed? The answer is no. It is a total betrayal of the good and honest British people with their unique Britishness. The UK has to be part of the EU. The far-sighted leaders like William Ewart Gladstone were able to see the need for a united Europe, whereas the short-sighted leaders like Otto von Bismarck, the first Chancellor of Germany, manipulated others and tried to annex other countries which eventually led to World War I. Humans are improving and humanity has to go forward; to do that, countries have to be united therefore the union of EU countries is a must. This book discusses the reasons why it will happen and the UK will one day re-join the EU.
