The show follows DC Leila Hussain (Karan) as she arrives in the Northern Irish town of Port Devine under a cloud of suspicion.

As she settles in as the coastal town's first Muslim police officer, Leila gets to the know the locals while solving a series of crimes with her loyal partner, Inspector Finn O'Hare (McMenamin).
