Though retired from being actively involved with football 17 years ago, Frank remains an ardent fan.

He was an Essex qualified Referee for 42 years. Retiring at the age of 72. Hardly missing a weekend. Reverently applying Football's laws he had sworn to uphold.

No matter the age of players. He loved what he did. For 42 years he did it well.Now 89, like most fellow Octogenarians, he lives in the past.
