Tanganyika Dreaming is a cathartic rite of passage, for lack of a more appropriate phrase.

This is a true story, written about an era between the years 1993 and 1997, in the The Great Lakes Region of central Africa, where the author worked as a forester and conservationist, as well as in other fields best described in the script.

Through his eyes, the reader is taken on a sensual journey through this region of beauty and mystique, where he encounters the majestic, proud and beautiful people that live there.

The story covers four tumultuous years spent in Burundi and Rwanda, in which he witnessed firsthand, the unnatural beauty, the unimaginable tragedy and the horrors that engulfed this magical region during that time.

This story is written in the hope that the beautiful, haunted and long suffering people of this land, will one day discover the eternal peace that they deserve.

That the Tutsi and the Hutu peoples will one day find the courage and the wisdom, to cross the great divide that separates them, to become one people.
