Reading Stars Phonics Phase 3 Build Pack provides a range of phonics readers to support a phonics teaching programme. There are 14 different books and the pack contains 6 copies of each book. It contains both fiction and non-fiction titles, on a range of topics and text types.

These books correspond to Phase 3 of the Letters and Sounds programme which is the UK government's benchmark for learning English lanuage.

The words are all decodable, which means they are made up of phonics that children can put together to decode the word.

These first books in Phase 3 introduce new phonemes, digraphs and consonont digraphs, together with more high frequency words.

Each book introduces the new letters and sounds in an order that corresponds to Letters and Sounds.

These books do not contain any words with letterrs or sounds that pupils will not have met at this stage of their phonics programme.
