Phonics Phase 3 Focus Pack : Phonics Phase 3

Reading Stars Phonics Phase 3 Focus Pack is the final pack in this stage of the programme.

It contains 16 books. It contains both fiction and non-fiction titles, on a range of topics and text types.

These books corresponds to Phase 3 of Letters and Sounds, the UK Government's synthetic phonics programme, but can be used for phonics reading practice to support any phonics programme.

The words are all decodable which means they are made up of phonics that children can put together to decode the word. The books in this pack all provide a focus on the various different phonemes and high frequency words introduced in Phase 3.

However, unlike the Phase 3 Build Pack, they do not work in a specific order in introducing the letters and sounds.

They are therefore best used for reinforcement once children have been introduced to all the letters and sounds.
